Professor Michael Mainelli is the founder of Z/Yen, the City of London's leading commercial think-tank and a mutual distributed ledger pioneer. He served as the 695th Lord Mayor of London from 2023 to 2024 and as Sheriff of the City of London from 2019 to 2021, and was educated at Harvard University and the London School of Economics.
